Hunwick Digital Village

Today the project began with a hall full of schoolchildren and members of the community sharing the magic of times gone by and digital media.

We began by watching a fantastic set of movies produced by Children in test bed schools and then we talked about the Hunwick Digital Village project. Lots of stories and photographs and poems were shared.

It will not be long before everyone will be able to enjoy the Hunwick story through digital media and the wonders of the world wide web.

With this pot my leg will mend,
But my heart will surely bend,
Because I have to stay in bed,
Something that I'll always dread,
Bed's a wonderful place to be,
When you've got some company,
But when I'm there all alone,
All I do is sit and moan,
Can't do this, Can't do that,
Can't even wash the dirty cat,
Ten days is such a long long time,
That's why I've sat and wrote this rhyme.
